SOUL SIRKUS Drummer Falls Ill; All Tour Dates Cancelled
January 4, 2005SOUL SIRKUS, the new "supergroup" formed by singer Jeff Scott Soto (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, TALISMAN, AXEL RUDI PELL, TAKARA, HUMAN CLAY),guitarist Neal Schon and drummer Deen Castronovo (both of JOURNEY) and bassist Marco Mendoza (THIN LIZZY, WHITESNAKE, TED NUGENT),have cancelled all previously announced tour dates after Castronovo was diagnosed with dehydration and exhaustion, according to a posting on the group's web site.
"Huge apologies for this inconvenience caused to all," the posting contnues. "We all woke up to the news that he was taken to the hospital after noticing his health was not all there the past few days and the news was just sprung on us minutes ago. Shows are being rescheduled for April."
